Salut!

In celebration of the most progress I've made as an immigrant in 6 months, I have poured a small glass of red wine and opened the Brie that Debbie and I didn't finish ... if I wasn't alone, I would share.

The police check is a good sign. They do that with regular citizens who move too.

I'm hoping it's all good news ... I find out tomorrow :)

Congrats on the six months. Here's to another six. I would drink with you, but I'm too amped up on caffeine.

P.S. just curious, do you need to have Word Verification on if you're using Comment Moderation? Just a thought.

Well, Mr Amped up On Caffeine ... sigh no, I don't need the word verification on. Thank you for pointing it out.

It seemed you were raising your eyebrow at me from the comment box as I wrote this. Althought that could be me and my paranoia regarding this small piece of simple-mindedness on my part.

Congrats on your apparent progress. And I think it was progress...otherwise he would've arrested you. :-O

Brie and wine. Sounds great, although the brie is strictly option.

Good luck tomorrow.

Sal

PS: Without word verification, you'll probably have a lot more spam to moderate.

Congratulations! I will salute to you and sacrifice a bottle of red for you and to speed up your processing.

I will have to try come over to celebrate your legal status when it's done. ;) Well, have to see how life tosses me around in the mean while. :P

Thanks Sal, not arrest but I had been living dangerously enough to warrant a 'talking to' by a policeman. I have recklessly crossed the road without lights or against the advice of the red light more than once recently and, I have fed the birds on the balcony ... pigeons did come and that is a fine. Anyway, today is the big day ... I'll trot off to the District huis soon, with the pre-requisite 4009 passport photos in hand.

Thanks for the red wine sacrifice doberman. And sure, I'll book you a place on the guided tour of Antwerpen list ... I think it's 2 Canadians and an American next week :)

Hi; I bet you liked to have a big noise and a cheery crowd out there for you; well this is how it is; a virtual crowd is not that bad, is it? Wooooh!

Wow!! I haven't read that subtitle bit. So it is a real thing to celebrate. Congratualtions. How does it feel to be European?

Hey behrooz, you made me smile with your 'how does it feel to be European' question. In New Zealand, we have the 'European' option on official forms ... I used it many times while I was growing up lol, imagine my surprise when I discovered I was a foreigner over here ... then that it took ages to get processed.
